Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F17CES32110400) is issued as a request for quotations. Offers are due to 7th Contracting Squadron, 381 3rd St, Dyess AFB, TX 79607 15 Aug 2003. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 321991. This is a restricted set aside 100% Small Business. Any prospective offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration in order to be eligible for award. Additional information on CCR is available at (888) 227-2423. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervisions and other items necessary to provide, Heavy-duty construction, Hardwood floors, Approximately 14? x 50? Floor plan Single Wide, One bedroom Approximately 10? x 11? with closet, Approximately 12? x 22? Living room, Refrigerator, Stove, One bathroom w/one sink, Toilet, Tub with shower capabilities, Closet in the living room area, 5-year warranty on construction, Include setup fee, Provide and install aluminum skirting, Provide steps into the trailer, Smoke detectors standard with battery back up interconnected, Custom build cabinetry, Vinyl floor covering kitchen, Bedroom and bathroom, Tongue and groove hardwood floors through out living room, Counter tops kitchen, Maintenance free vinyl siding with lifetime manufacturers warranty, Vinyl covered sheetrock wall board, Steel exterior door with deadbolt, Asphalt shingles with 25-year manufacturer warranty, Blown insulation in the ceiling, 2? x 4? sidewalls, 15? on center, Fiberglass insulation in the walls, 2? x 8? floor joist with 18? on center, Solid I beam construction in the frame. Specifications on any and all alternate products must be an equal match or better to the specifications. Commercial warranties are strongly encouraged. Payment will not begin prior to delivery. As prescribed in 12.301(c), the Contracting Officer may insert a provision substantially as follows: Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price_______________________________________ (b) Options. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). (c) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
