Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. (ii) Solicitation F13EMS31190100 is issued as a Commercial Solicitation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. (iv) N/A. (v) The contractor shall provide all labor, design, tools, equipment, plant, material, and other items and services necessary to provide three each 19? F-15 Maintenance Platforms - see attached drawings. The scaffold will be made of galvanized steel. The scaffold will be at 16 feet with the total height including guardrails being 19 feet. The scaffold will allow for access to either side of one of the F-15 stabilizers without readjusting the scaffolding. The stands will be rigid, versatile, simple to assemble, and mobile. See the drawings for the floor width and dimensions. The scaffold will hold up to 1500 lbs. The scaffold will be light enough for four personnel to maneuver it if needed. The platform on the scaffold will withstand up to 1500 lbs. (vii) Units issued = each. (viii) The date of delivery shall be no later then 30 days ARO (After Receipt of Order) or sooner to 1EMS/CCXP, Langley AFB, VA 23665. . FOB Destination. Responsibility and Inspection: Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and Quality Control. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: cost/price. Alternate proposals will be accepted. (x) Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items with its offer. The before mentioned provision is included in Attachment I.
