- The Contractor shall provide uniforms and maintenance services, i.e. laundering, repairs, alterations and additions, also to include weekly pick up and delivery for USDA, ARS, BARC, OMS, USS, BARC-East & West in Beltsville, Maryland, in accordance with the Statement of Work. Contract base period will be October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004 with 4(four)option years. Magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000 for the base year. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 812331 and the annual size standard is $12.0 million. This acquisition will be procured as a small business set-aside, under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), using procedures from FAR Part 13?Simplified Acquisitions Procedures, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15A. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about August 15, 2003. The solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check the website for the solicitation, as well as any amendments that may arise. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotations will be due September 1, 2003, 4:00pm. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose quotation is considered the "Best value for the Federal Government." In the event of multiple acceptable quotations, pricing will be the deciding factor. Anticipated award date is September 5, 2003.
