Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal are bein g requesteed. A written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No.W45CMJ 3177-1800 is issued as a Request for Quotations. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect the Federal Acquisition circular 01-15. The North American Industry Classification System code applicable to this acquisition is 336120. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. Armored Riot Swat Van with a 2004 Chevy or GMC van chassis or equal to (1 each), SWAT design as in Alp ine's patented A6 Cougar design, V8 or V10 gasoline engine, Black in color, 6 armor plating top and all sides A6 is 7.62x39, rear benches facing each other, should fit at least 8 in the back, 6in X 48in side panel windows, upgraded heavy duty suspension to withstand the added weight, front and rear Rambo bumper, window and grill mounted police lights, 2 front doors, 1 double door in rear, 1 right side door, rear wheel drive, dual air conditioning, power steering, Alpine's escape roof hatch, 4 speed automat ic transmission. Offeror must indicate the maximum time required to effect delivery. Price quoted shall be F.O.B Destination prices. The Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price order resulting from this solicitation. Far Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers Commercial, applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by referene. Offerors will include a completed-copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their quotations. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference. The clause Far 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and is incorporated in full text with the following clauses checked as applicable: 52,203-6; 52,219-4; 52.219-6; 52.219-14; 52,222-21; 52,222-26; 52,222-35;52,222-36; 52,222-37; 52,222-19; 52,225-13; 52,225-15; 52,232-33. The cl ause FAR 252-212-7001, Contracts Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and is incorporated in full text with the following clauses checked a s applicable 52.203-3 252,225-7036, 52.225-7012, 252.232.7003,252.247-7023,252.243-7002. The following additional Far Clause is applicable: 52.211.6, Brand Name or Equal. This acquisition is set-aside 100% small for small business concerns. The offeror will indicate manufacturer model or part numbers quoted and supply drawings or any needed descriptive literature that will be used in evaluation of quotation. Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible small business offerer whose quotation conforms to the solicitation. Contractor must provide the Dun and Bradstreet Number, Cage Code and federal Tax ID number along with their quotation. All offerors must be Central Contractor Registered in accordance with Def Acq Reg Supplement Provision 252.204.7004. Offeror quotations must be submitted to the Contracting command Building 1001, Fort Hood, TX 76544 by 3:00 p.m. Central on 15 Aug 03.
