- Description
- USAID is contracting for energy sector technical assistance necessary to promote economic growth and reduce long-term threats to the global environment. The purpose of this contract is to acquire short and long-term advisory services and technical assistance in the areas of energy sector reform, utility management, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and technology transfer. This contract will be used to promote the more efficient generation, transmission, distribution and use of energy in USAID client and nonclient countries. This acquisition represents a follow-on procurement to an existing $205,250,000, multi-award (3 consortia), Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for similar-type technical services (included in Section C). Incumbents on the current Energy and Environment Technical Assistance IQC include Advanced Engineering Associates International (AEAI), Nexant (formerly Bechtel National), and PA Consulting (formerly Hagler-Bailly). NAICS:541611, Order of Magnitude Threshold: (Estimated) anticipated aggregate amount is NTE $300,000,000 among 3 full and open IQC awards and 1 Small Disadvantaged Business 8(a) competitive IQC award. Numbered note 2. A portion of the acquisition is set aside for small business concerns applies.
