Description

NA THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. Industry comment sought by the ACA, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Belvoir Virginia of the draft Fort George G. Meade Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the Directorate of Industrial Operations functions o f Engineer Plans and Services, Roads and Grounds, Facility Maintenance and Repair, Supply and Services and Equipment Maintenance. The intent of the request is to refine the draft PWS for future inclusion into a RFP under an OMB Circular A76 cost comparison study. MDWAC requests that industry carefully review the draft PWS and offer comments no later than 9 October 2002. Comments that do not include a reference to the applicable portion of the draft PWS may not be considered. Comments and responses resulting from industry review will be published prior to issuance of any competitive commercial RFP. It is anticipated that a Cost Plus Award Fee solicitation will be issued. All questions and comments received from potential offferors will be considered by the Go vernment in preparation for the final RFP. Any changes made will be at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. PROPOSALS ARE NOT REQUESTED AT THIS TIME AND WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted in response to this request for industry comment. The draft PWS may only be viewed at http://160.147.130.102/solicitations/DIO-Meade/index.doc The Government will not provide hard copy (paper sets) or CD-ROM of the draft PWS.
