- Description
- This is Modification No. 2, to the synopsis entitled CONSTRUCT CENTRAL HVAC PLANT IN RESF AREA, Solicitation No. RFO4-03025, which was posted on 02JUN03, and subsequently amended by Modification No. 1 on 12JUL03. You are notified that the following changes are made: The acquisition strategy for this procurement has been changed from Full and Open Competition to an 8(a) Competition, limited to 8(a) firms located within the geographical areas serviced by the SBA Fresno, Los Angeles, Santa Ana, and San Diego District Offices. Also, the NAICS Code is amended to read 238220 versus 238229. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about 14AUG03, with an anticipated offer closing date on or about 16SEP03. A firm date for receipt of bids or offers will be stated in the RFO. Pursuant to FAR clause 52.236-27 , Site Visit (Construction) Alternate I, an organized site visit has been scheduled for 26AUG03, at 9:00AM local time. Participants will meet at Building 4825. Prospective offerors shall submit the names of all site visitors to the Contracting Officer no later than one (1) week prior to the site visit. All contractual and technical questions shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer in writing. Hard copies of the solicitation, drawings, and specifications will be available via E-Mail request from the DFRC Contracting Officer. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
