- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to issue a purchase order for research services on a sole source basis to Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC), University of Central Florida, 1679 Clearlake Road, Cocoa, FL 32922. This effort is to develop and demonstrate using EnergyGauge FlaCom software, a method of automatically converting IFC models into CONTAMW2.x files to support zonal airflow modeling of a building. FSEC is the designer and developer of this software and thus has proprietary rights in it. The period of performance will be from date of order through April 2004. Any interested sources must own or have license to software suitable for this effort as well as demonstrated capabilities in developing solutions to similar requirements. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13). The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Da hlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/wwwDL/XD/SUPPLY. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
