- Description
- The FAA intends to award a Single Source Contract to Enonda Telecom, P. O. Box 5212, Columbus, Georgia 31096, for the Tower Refurbishment at the Terminal Doppler Weather Radar (TDWR), San Juan, Puerto Rico. This project has been determined urgent due to the deplorable condition of the tower antenna, which could be rendered inoperable if extreme weather conditions (such as a hurricane) is experienced prior to completion of this refurbishment work. The project consist of maintenance work that requires specialized expertise and previous comparable work experience. Because it is imperative that the project is completed timely and due to the importance to the flying public, it was determined to be in the best interest of the Government to award this requirement as a single source to the heretofore-listed company.
