Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the acquisition of Goodrich JcAir P/N 01-0520-70 signal generators to be utilized in the calibration of FAA flight inspection receivers. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Goodrich, JcAir Test Systems, 400 New Century Parkway, New Century, Kansas 66031, in accordance with AMS Policy 3.2.2.4. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) Code is 334515. The required signal generator is proprietary to JcAir. No other manufacturer has the necessary drawings, technical data, test equipment and trained personnel to provide this generator. Your inquiry should indicate if the SIR is being requested for Information, Subcontracting, or Bidding purposes. A Request for copies of the SIR shall be done by facsimile 405-954-3030, Attn: Carolyn Engelke. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
