- Description
- This solicitation is for the acquisition of services in support of the four functional areas: (1) Training and Employee Development Services; (2) Information Management and Processing Services; (3) Debt Management Services; and (4) Loan Operation Services. The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The resulting contract will be for a base period of one year with four one year option periods. This acquisition is an A-76 cost comparison. This solicitation may not result in a contract award depending on the outcome of the study. If the outcome results in an award to private industry, FSA will award only one prime contract. The previous solicitation notices issued against this requirement were: RFI-03-001DC, Request for Information; RFC-008-03DC, Request for Comments; and Special Notice 99, Publicly announcing the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency transition procedures of the competitive sourcing studies. The budget estimates for the base and outyear options are as follows: Base Year - Fiscal Year 2004 - $10,200,000.00 Option Year 1 - Fiscal Year 2005 - $10,404,000.00 Option Year 2 - Fiscal Year 2006 - $10,612.000.00 Option Year 3 - Fiscal Year 2007 - $10,824,000.00 Option Year 4 - Fiscal Year 2008 - $11,040,000.00 A Pre-proposal Conference and Small Business Fair will be held on August 24, 2003 for this acquisition.
