- The United States Coast Guard has a requirement for 3950-01-206-2616 Windlass, Quantity 2 each. Mfg. Name: Jered Industries, Inc., Part Number X-1927. Description: Anchor Windlass with gypsey head and wildcat, 1200 lb. Chain pull at 30 ft. per minute, 1000 lb. Line pull at 34 ft. per minute, for ?? rope and 112 BBB chain, includes 1.5 HP motor. It is the Government?s belief that only Jered Industries, Inc., the Original Equipment Manufacturer, or their authorized distributors, have the capability to manufacture and supply these windlass. NO EQUAL OR ALTERNATE PART NUMBERS SHALL BE ACCEPTED. Closing date for this quotation is August 15, 2003. FOB Destination delivery to USCG ELC Warehouse Annex, 6751 Alexander Bell Drive, Columbia, MD 21046. Note: No Drawings or specifications are available from this agency. Substitute part number are not acceptable. Quotation shall include, proposed delivery in days, pricing for item individually packed, marked and bar coded, the company tax information number and duns number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received shall be considered by this agency. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
