- There will be a site visit at McConnell AFB, KS on 14 August 2003 (Thursday), anyone interested please contact Lt. Peterson by 1200 (noon) on 13 August 2003. This requirement is currently unfunded and may or may not be purchased on or about 30 Sep 03. Please make pricing valid until 1 Oct 03. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format listed in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. F14614-03-Q0037 is being issued as a Request for Quotation, which incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. This acquisition is reserved for small businesses. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238390. McConnell AFB, KS plans to acquire the following items: 27 modular workstations, to include work surface, overhead storage, and filing cabinets. Installation will also be required. The following provisions in their latest editions apply to this solicitation FAR 52.212-1 Instructions To Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. All quotes will be evaluated on price and delivery. Before the offer’s specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award. Please submit with your quote a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer is confirming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. The FAR clauses may be viewed at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ Contractors submitting quotes must be enrolled in the Central Contractor Registration Program (http://www.ccr.gov/). The closing date for this solicitation will be 22 August 2003, 4:00 PM Central Standard Time. Late quotes will not be accepted.
