- Description
- The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson AFB, CO announces this Sources Sought Synopsis for the acquisition of the Base Custodial Contract, Peterson AFB, CO. The government contemplates soliciting for the award of a Performance Based, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The anticipated award is restricted to Hub Zone Small Business Certified Contractors from Colorado ONLY. The performance period of this contract shall consist of one base year, four individual option years and two incentive years, for a total of seven years. The NAICS for this acquisition is 561720, with a size standard of $14.0M. There is no guarantee that the option years will be exercised. The government anticipates the issuance of a Draft Request For Proposal (RFP) on 21 May 03 and the release of the final RFP on or about 26 Jun 03. The anticipated award date is 1 Oct 03 subject to the availability of funds. Contract award will be based on Best overall price and past-performance. Interested parties should register online and subscribe to receiving procurement announcements related to this solicitation by entering the website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Contract teaming is encouraged as prescribed under the SBA rules for Joint Ventures, Prime Contractor/Sub Contractor arrangements and the SBA or DOD Mentor-Prot?g? Procedures. Interested parties are requested to submit responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis by COB, 15:00hrs, on 7 Feb 03 Mountain Time. There will be no paper copies of this solicitation.
