- The intent of this contract is to secure services for the mechanical thin, release from competing vegetation and treatment of fuels by mastication on 20-year old conifer plantations to improve forest health, growth and decrease the risk of devastating wildfires. Work will include between 190 to 257 acres (base plus options). Estimated start work date 9/22/03, contract time 120 days. Estimated solicitation issue date 8/22/03 posted at this FedBizOpps site. Project is located 12 air miles north of Upper Lake about halfway between Upper Lake and Lake Pillsbury. NAICS 115310, business size standard $15.0 Million.
