- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is requesting quotations from vendors to provide 2000. Each, NEX GEN Metal Plates, BEP Stock NO. 2P021112, to be used within currency loads. Plates are 25.787 Inch x 22.874 Inch thick, four holes (1 3/8 Inch diameter) are to be punched through each plate (4 Inch O.C. from edge) In strategic positions throughout the plate for visibility from side to side of plate (see attached drawing). Plate corners are to be rounded, 1 Inch radius @ each corner. Holes and plate edges filed as to eliminate any sharp edges. No substitutes allowed. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. The request for quotation (RFQ) Number is 03-0421. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The applicable small business size is 500 employees. Delivery terms are F.O.B. destination to Bureau of Engraving & Printing 3201 Pennsy Drive, Landover MD 20785. The basis for award shall be price. The plates shall be in accordance with the attached drawings. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF 1449 or on company letterhead. Quotation shall include the RFQ number, delivery, three past performance references, the proposed unit price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, phone number, address, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number, and size status (i.e., small business, disadvantage business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due May 12, 2003.
