- Description
- This is a Notice of Intent to Award a sole source procurement to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for participation in MIT?s Community of Learning: A Research Project on the Emerging Workplace Industry. This purchase will be done under Simplified Acquisitions Procedures and Other than Full and Open competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-3. This notice is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond within fifteen days of this announcement. All responses must be in writing by facsimile to the Contracting Officer at (202) 501-3836 or e-mail to Virginia.Burwell@gsa.gov. Interested vendors shall identify the firms status (i.e., HUBzone, 8(a), women-owned, small disadvantaged, small or large business). A determination not to continue with this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
