- Description
- NAICS Code: 541620 EPA intends to award the subject purchase order with Dr. Francesca Dominici, pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1)--Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards (OAQPS), has a requirement for a report detailing the results of (1)Bayesian hierarchical estimation of adjusted mortality effect estimates from the current database of ozone mortality literature and the resulting composite distribution of the ozone mortality effect, and (2) meta-analysis regression results exploring the relationship between variability in mortality effect estimates and study-specific factors, such as PM2.5 levels and temperature specifications. The EPA requires an updating and reanalysis of the literature examining the potential relationship between short-term exposures to ambient concentrations of tropospheric ozone for the purpose of developing a concentration-response (C-R) function to be used in Regulatory Impact Analyses of air regulations. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of capability within 15 calendar days of this notice to: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Attn: Margaret Dougherty (E105-02) , 4930 Page Road, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina 27709. Responses must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet the requirement. Responses shall include itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, an order will be placed with Dr. Francesca Dominici.
