- Description
- The U.S. Department of the Treasury is seeking administrative and program management staff to serve as a program assistant for its Washington, DC-based technical assistance program. The person selected will be hired under personal services contract. The Office of Technical Assistance provides overseas advisors to 30 countries in five functional areas: enforcement, government debt issuance and management, budget policy, financial institutions policy, and tax policy. The Program Assistant will provide administrative support to overseas advisors in one of the functional areas, and general support for operations in all areas. This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong organizational skills. Experience with spreadsheets and budgeting strongly preferred. U.S. citizenship is required. Salaries are negotiable from $32,370 to $42,083 and will be negotiated in accordance with program regulations and based on demonstrated salary history, not to exceed the maximum indicated. The period of performance will be one year with the option to extend the contract for additional year(s), not to exceed forty-eight (48) months.
