- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, anticipates acquiring by negotiations services to perform Fleet Operations Assessment Support; systems Engineering and Operations Research Studies; Submarine high Data Rate (HDR) Documentation Support, and Technical and Management Program Support. The resulting contract will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type with Cost Plus Fixed Fee, with a "Fee Rate Reduction Incentive", and Term and Completion Provisions. The period of performance will be five years from date of contract award. The total estimated level of effort 250,000 man-hours. This is a follow-on to a currently active NUWC contract, N66604-02-D-0687, with Tele-Consultant, Inc. of Alpharetta, GA. Award will be made on the basis of Best Value to the Government. The evaluation factors will be Personnel, Past Performance and Cost. The resulting contract will be a single award. There are six key labor categories: Manager, Program Project II 10,000 man-hours, Technician, Electrical/Electronics VI 50,000 man-hours, Technician, Electrical/Electronics IV 60,000 man-hours, Engineer, Electrical/Electronics III 20,000 man-hours, Logistician II 20,000 man-hours, and Logistician III 10,000 man-hours. The Service Contract Act applies. Estimated release date is 22 August 2003. NAICS: 541330 . Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
