Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division intends to negotiate a contract with L-3 Communications Avionics Systems on a sole source basis for the procurement of the P-3 Standby Attitude Indicator. The Standby Attitude Indicator is a flight instrument used as a means to indicate aircraft attitude in the event of failure of the primary Flight Director Indicators. The two requirements for this procurement are the modification and repair of the P-3 Standby Attitude Indicator, which L-3 Communication Avionics Systems holds proprietary rights to. Due to the fact that this effort will be sole source, the purpose of this notice is to facilitate subcontracting opportunities only. See Note 22.
