- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorportated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-14. This procurement is a partial small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 423720. The small business size standard is 100 employees. Line Item 1: Strainrite AQ2-2BSHD Filter Housing, or approved equivalent that is compatible with a Strainrite HPM97-CC-2SS filter bag or other bag that is currently Colorado State Department of Public Health and Environment approved for use to meet the Surface Water Treatment Rule. Filter housing shall meet the following additional specifications: 304 stainless steel, single cavity vessel NPT, 2" inlet and outlet, 1" drain port, 1/4" blow-down port in lid, 150 psi continuous service. Quantity 4. Line Item 2: Sanitron 166 GPM UV Sterilizer, or approved equivalent that is compatible with Line Item 1. Sterilizer shall include the following features: UV guardian monitor, audio alarm, brass solenoid valve, SS flow control valve, time-delay control and non-resettable elapsed-time indicator. Quanitity 1. Line Item 3: Sanitron 83 GPM UV Sterilizer, or approved equivalent that is compatible with Line Item 1 and whose parts will interchange with Line Item 2. Features shall be identical to those listed in Line Item 2. Quantity 2. Date of delivery on or before September 22, 2003. Destination, acceptance and FOB point is Rocky Mountain National Park, 1000 US Highway 36, Estes Park, CO 80517. The clause at 52.213-4, Terms and Conditions-Simplified Acquisitions (Other than Commercial Items) applies to this acquisition. See Numbered Notes 2 and 22. At the present time, the Government knows of only one authorized regional supplier, a large business, capable of meeting the requirements of Line Item 1.
