- NA DESCRIPTION: The project consists of Repair of the concrete bulkhead along the Southern Boundary of the Caven Point Terminal property. Point of contact for this project is Anne Spiegelberg at 212-264-9003. Project Manager is Marty Goff at 212-264-9074. Pla ns and Specification for Solicitation Number DACW51-03-B-0021 will be available on or about 18 Aug 2003. Bid Opening date is on or about 18 Sept 2003 at 2:00 P.M. or 30 days from plans and specifications available date. Bid opening will be held in room 18 41. The media selected for the issuance of solicitations and amendments shall solely be at the discretion of the Government; accordingly, the media utilized for this project are the internet and CD-ROM. Paper copies of this solicitation, and amendments, if any, will not be available or issued. Interested parties may download and print the solicitation, at no charge at http://nan.usace.army.mil (contracting opportunities). Project specification files and drawings are portable document files (PDF) and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Minimum system requirements are 486 Based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater, 8MB application RAM. A registration page is attached to the website and prospective bidders are require d to register and to receive notice of any amendments and /or addenda that may be issued to this solicitation. Utilization of the internet is the preferred method, however, CD's will be available upon written request stating the solicitation number, or pro ject name, complete company name and street address (we will not deliver to P. O. boxes), telephone and facsimile number (including area codes). Make check or money order payable in the amount of $10.00 (non-refundable) to USAED, New York. Send Check or Mo ney Order to the US Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, Room 1843, 26 Federal Plaza, New York, N.Y. 10278-0090. Registration Requirements: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applies to this procurement. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense CCR Database prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR data abase will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obta ined by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the internet at http://ccr2000.com. This project is UNRESTRICTED and open to all prospective bidders. The cost range for this project is $2,500,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. The SIC No. is 1629/NAICS Code is 237990. Time fo r completion of this project is 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. A Subcontracting Plan is required for all large business firms.
