- Description
- US Army, TACOM-ARDEC, is releasing a Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) at this time for information and planning purposes on the Electromagnetic (EM) Gun Compact Pulsed Power Supply Project. This pulsed power supply project supports the EM Gun Technology Maturation and Demonstration Program. This program is intended to be a three-year effort designed to manage the EM technology opportunity by reducing the technical risk associated with EM technology. It will also promote coordination, cooperation, and mutual understanding of EM technology issues; identifying technology trends, preparing technology forecasts, and facilitating future competition. The program is structured as a set of four separate projects. This draft RFP concerns Pulsed Power Supply only. Potential offerors are invited to participate in one-on-one discussions with EM personnel to take place 19 - 21 August 2003. Scheduling must be done no later than 11 August 2003.
