- **UPDATE #2** The purpose of this update is to change the Classification Code from "Category A: Research and Development" to read "Category Z: Maintenance, repair and alteration of real property". **UPDATE #1** The purpose of this update is to release Release RFP F33601-03-R- 0058, for Project Numbers 960603A, 960603C, 960603D, and 960693G, "Replacement or Relocation of (4) Gatehouses, Gate 9A, 15A, 19B and 22B, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base" to industry. **NOTE** In order to view drawings, you must first open the Max View Reader. Project Numbers 960603A, 960603C, 960603D, and 960693G, "Replacement or Relocation of (4) Gatehouses, Gate 9A, 15A, 19B and 22B, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base". The project scope consists or furnishing all the labor, equipment, appliances, devices and materials, and performing all the operations necessary in connection with the replacement and relocation of the above mentioned gatehouses. The contractor shall be responsible for relocating the gatehouses, reconfiguring the entry control points, reconfiguring traffic, parking, fences and gates. The new gatehouse design upgrades structure to a "hardened" defensive structure. This hardened structure consists of concrete, concrete masonry units and a standing seam metal roof. Gatehouse functions include restrooms, guardroom and storage. Gatehouses include HVAC requirements. All entry control points shall remain operational during construction. The contractor shall be required to work closely with the Security Forces to insure traffic continues to flow smoothly during the construction process. The estimated price range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The period of performance is 365 days. NAICS CODE: 233320. The size standard is $28.5M This is an unrestricted procurement in accordance with Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program Act of l988, Public Law 100-656 (15 USC 644 note). In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 contractors must be registered in Contract Central Registration (CCR) prior to award for solicitations issued after 31 May 1998. Registrations may be accomplished at http://www.ccr.gov. NOTES: 1. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be available on or about 07 July 2003, at www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. 2. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided. You may, however, download and print the file from the web-site. 3. These is no fee for this solicitation. 4. There are approximately 40 pages of the solicitation and 100 pages of the specifications. 5. A hard copy of the solicitation will be available for review at Dayton Builders Exchange, Minority Contractors Business Assistance Program and F. W. Dodge Division in Dayton, OH. 6. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the website for any changes to the solicitation. 7. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF1442 by the proposal closing date specified in the solicitation. There will not be a public bid opening. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors.
