- NA AMENDMENT TO SOLICITATION FOR ALCATEL MAG 1cv VACUUM PUMP WITH F33601-03-T-0172 THIS AMENDMENT SUPERCEDES THE PREVIOUS SYNOPSIS FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. THIS AMENDMENT CHANGES THE SOLICITATION FROM A "SOLE SOURCE" ACQUISITION TO AN "UNRESTRICTED" "BRAND NAME OR EQUAL" ACQUISITION. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item to be procured for the Air Force Institute of Technology at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F33601-03-T-0172 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This proposed acquisition is UNRESTRICTED. In accordance with FAR Clause 52.211-6, quotes are being solicited on a "BRAND NAME OR EQUAL BASIS". No hard copies will be sent. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. The associated standard industrial classification (SIC) code is 3826 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333911. The small business size standard is 500 Employees.
