- **Update - Amend. 0001 (Atch) - Site Visit Scheduled ** **Update - Solicitation, Drawings, Specification + Wage Determination uploaded 7/31/03 ** The work consist of relocating OSMPF, Facility 30103 (Project 001940). Project scope converts approximately 10,000 SF of an existing flight line aircraft electronics maintenance facility to an aircraft reconnaissance film processing facility to include administrative, conference, laboratory, and shop and storage space. Work will include wall and ceiling construction, lighting, plumbing, sprinklers, electrical, and HVAC including ductwork and controls. New doors and electric door strikes with card readers will be required. Also included will be demolition of existing walls, ceilings, sprinklers, electrical, HVAC, etc. Special requirements/concerns: A general knowledge of photo facility construction and photo equipment installation will be required. Work site is on the WPAFB flight line resulting in strict access and security requirements. Additionally, of great concern will be the control of the construction debris, which can create foreign object damage (FOD) resulting in millions of dollars of aircraft damage and the access for delivery and work vehicles. Contractor will need close coordination between trades to insure Government furnished equipment and furnishings can be properly installed. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Period of Performance is 270 days. NAICS CODE: 236220. The size standard $28.5M. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement in accordance with Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program Act of 1988, Public Law 100-656 (15 U.S.C. 644 note). There are approximately 40 pages of the solicitation, approximately 250 pages of specifications and approximately 46 sheets of drawings. 5. A hard copy of the solicitation will be available for review at Dayton Builders Exchange, Minority Contractors Business Assistance Program and F.W. Dodge Division. 6. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addendum+s that may be issued to the solicitation. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 7. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 by the proposal closing date specified in the solicitation. There will not be a public bid opening. 8. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors.
