- Market Research - The Air Force Fight Test Center is seeking sources for Enhanced Flight Termination System (EFTS) Triple Data Encryption Standard (3 DES) Data Units (TDU). The 3DES TDUs will be integrated with the EFTS ground-to-air data link transmitting stations operating in conjunction with the EFTS encoder and ground monitor/receiver unit. The Flight Termination Receiver (FTR) shall accept crypto-variable keys for the encryption method. An acceptable interface shall use the National Security Agency (NSA) certified Data Transfer Device. Contractors capable of manufacturing 3 DES TDUs and that possess a NSA COMSEC account are invited to respond to this notice. Interested parties are requested to submit capability statements, catalogs, or published literature that describes products or product capabilities and previous experience with 3 DES and/or certified NSA Data Transfer Devices no later than 6 September 2003. Please include business size and a point of contact, including telephone number and email address. The NAICS code for small business is 334220 with a size of 750.
