- Description
- The Health Administration Center (HAC), Denver Colorado, is developing a process where all incoming and outgoing electronic transactions exit and enter the HAC system from a single point. The HAC intends to use this clearinghouse to translate transactions to and from proprietary carrier formats, including paper UB92s and HCFA 1500s. The VA intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price with a vendor capable of acting as a clearing house as well as developing and implementing the HIPAA transaction sets.
