- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a single source requirement for Cockpit Voice Recorders. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336413. The contractor is to provide Cockpit Voice Recorder Boxes (20 EA), Cockpit Voice Recorder Control Head (7 EA), Cockpit Voice Recorder Control Head (26 EA), Cockpit Voice Recorder Area Microphone (24 EA), Cockpit Voice Recorder Test Set (3 EA). The purchase order will be awarded to Universal Avionics Systems Corp. 3260 E. Universal Way, Tucson AZ 85706. NOTE: The following notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
