- Description
- The contractor shall provide an inverted stage microscope with integral brightfield and darkfield prism cubes. The microscope shall be inverted specimen stage with 200mm x 200mm sample area. A stage shall be supported by the frame of the unit such that there is not vertical movement of the sample when the focus is being adjusted. The microscope shall include a three megapixel camera capable of photographing images as seen through the eyepiece. It shall have the capability to measure the length of items viewed through the eypiece with an accuracy of one micrometer. This device may be an attachment to the eyepiece, or be integral to the microscope. The measuring device shall have the capability of manually resetting the zero point before commencing measurement. To obtain a full listing of the minimum acceptable specifications a copy of the quotation must be requested on or before August 11, 2003. The solicitation shall be released on August 14, 2003.
