- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT, HOWEVER, REQUEST FOR FUNDING IS INCLUDED IN THE FY 03 SPEND PLAN. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F43TRS31810100 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. This acquisition is restricted to Small Business Set Aside and is under North American Industry Classification System code 334310,with a small business size standard of 500. Requirements would be to upgrade, reconfigure, and house the audio presentation system in building 87, room 135, Gardner Auditorium. The contractor shall provide all materials, software, hardware, and cabinet(s) to complete system installation. All upgraded/replaced Audio Video Presentation System equipment must meet or exceed the approved technical solution on AF Form 3215, Multimedia Coordination # 03-1774002MM. Installation shall include installing and organizing user owned equipment where applicable. A service contract that covers troubleshooting, identifying problems, and recommending solutions if existing equipment is not workable. All audio, video, and VGA wiring shall be plenum grade to meet national fire protection association codes. Price shall include all factory warranties plus on-site service warranty for 1 full year from date of installation. No service charges for repairs or troubleshooting in case of malfunction or user errors within first year. Guaranteed response time of no more than four hours. This auditorium is utilized by numerous agencies across the base and it is imperative the presentation system is functional. A renewable annual service and response time contract. It is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. It is amended to read: Submit signed and dated offer to 97 CONS/LGCA, 205 S. 6th St. Bldg. 318, Altus AFB OK 73523-5147 at or before 1630 CST, [DATE]. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letter head or quotation form. Quotations may be faxed to (580) 481-7472. Offers on this acquisition shall be evaluated on the basis of price factors only. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Items (July 2002) with the quotation. If a copy of the provisions are needed, please request one from 2Lt D. Ryan Spriestersbach, and a copy will be faxed. FAR clause 52.212-4 (Feb 2002), Contract Terms and Conditions—Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Nov 2001). The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders—Commercial Items (May 2002)and its deviations (Apr 2001) applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be issued in writing. No telephonic responses will be processed. Department of Labor Wage Determination 94-2525 Rev. 22 applies and is incorporated into this Solicitation and any resultant Purchase Order.
