- Notice to offerors; funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation/RFP either before or after the bid opening/RFP closing date This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number is F14614-03-Q-0027. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Number 2001-09. This requirement is restricted to small businesses. Request is to purchase 1) 4/EA 24 in wide x 20 in deep x 72 in tall 3 pack Mobile Storage System for firefighter turnout (firefighting) gear, Frame-Heavy Duty 1 1/4 in tubing side & back grids high strength ¼ in. cold rolled wire, with 3 in. overall grid for additional strength and stability. Nameplate 20 GA. Cold rolled sheet metal, accepts 2 in x 16 in custom-printed tag. Powder coated black. Manufacturer: Gear Grid or equal. 2) 4/EA 24 in. secure door option, powder coated black. Manufacturer: Gear Grid or equal. 3) 5/EA 24 in hose storage unit, frame heavy duty 1 ¼ in tubing. Side & back grids high strength ¼ in. cold rolled wire, with 3 in. overall grid for additional strength and stability. Powder coated black. Manufacturer: Gear Grid or equal. NAICS Code: 42139.
