- 84 - The United States Special Operations Command, Directorate of Procurement has a potential requirement for a Maritime Assault Suit System(MASS). The MASS shall consist of an over-garment and neck ring, which can be used as a combat suit in maritime, terrestrial, airborne, shipboard, and transitional environments by the U.S. Navy. The contract line item numbers (CLIN) for this acquisition will be: CLIN 0001, MASS Over-garment, field repair kit, and neck ring; CLIN 0002 Non Warranted Services (subCLINs are as follows: 0002AA Zipper Replacement front entry; 0002AB Zipper Replacement Relief; 0002AC Gasket Wrist; 0002AD Gasket Neck; 0002AE Socks) 0002AF - Other Services. CLIN 0003 Replacement Parts (subCLINs are as follows: 0003AA Zipper Replacement front entry; 0003AB Zipper Replacement Relief; 0003AC Gasket Wrist; 0003AD Gasket Neck; 0003AE Socks 0003AF - Other Parts. This acquisition is one hundred percent (100%) set-aside for Small Business with competition procedures for Commercial Off-The-Shelf items. A multiple Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with one (1) five-year ordering period is contemplated for this action. It is the Governments intent to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) USZA22-03-R-0035 o/a 7 July 2003. The RFP will be posted on this FEDBIZOPPS website. All responsible sources solicited may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 315299 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. It is the responsibility of all interested parties to continually monitor the website to stay informed.
