- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to procure a Power Supply, (2) Input Boards, Output Board, Buss Monitor Board, Program Carrier, (2) Amplifier Boards, (3) Timing Boards for the computer component on the I-8 press from ABB Service Center. These design details to the computer component are proprietary information to the original equipment manufacturer, ABB Control Inc. This procurement action is for supplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Parts 6.302 and 13.106-1. The resulting purchase order will not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. The procedures in FAR Part 13.106-3 shall be used.
