- Description
- NOTICE OF INTENT. The Naval Facility Contracts Office (NAVFACCO) intends to award on a Sole Source basis contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) to Dr. Robert L. Siegrist, Ph.D., P.E., 2770 Iliff Street, Boulder, Colorado 80303 to serve as a technical expert to review the performance of an in situ chemical oxidation system at Operable Unit 4, NTC Orlando. The technical consultant shall have expertise in the design implementation of chemical oxidation systems for reduction of chlorinated solvent source zones. Dr. Siegrist?s international recognition as an expert in, in situ remediation technologies , specifically chemical oxidation, and his intimate knowledge as a member of SERDP/ESTCP?s Chlorinated Solvent Expert Panel is required. Dr. Siegrist, Ph. D., P.E. is the only responsible source and no other supply or service with his unique combination of technical expertise and practical experience that will satisfy the Government requirement. The Purchase Order is Firm Fixed Price (FFP). See Note 22.
