- Description
- The National Naval Medical Center, (NNMC), Bethesda, MD intends to award a sole source procurement to Applied Biosystems for a 3400 DNA Synthesizer. The existing analyzer is now obsolete and will be accepted as a trade-in for the new instrument. The requirement is for the Naval Medical Research Center. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
