Description
NA The Government has a requirement for Supplemental Emergency Medical Transportation Services for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) patients within a 15-mile radius of Keller Army Community Hospital, West Point, NY. Transportation ser vices shall be provided twenty-four hours a day, seven days per week on a scheduled and unscheduled basis. The contractor will be required to pick up a designated patient at the patient??????s current location (e.g. emergency room, ward, outpatient clinic , cadet health clinic, military housing) and shall deliver the patient to the required location. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, uniforms, training, ambulances, communication equipment, and medical equipment required to perform servic es under the contract. The contractor shall conform to the State of New York laws and regulations governing the provision of ambulance services. Contractor personnel shall be certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and shall maintain a current cert ification status in accordance with the New York State Medical Services Code. EMT staff shall maintain current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); and Basic Life Support (BLS). Contractor personnel operating the motor vehicle shall possess a current New York State driver??????s license as required to drive emergency medical services ambulances and patient transport vehicles. Contract period will be 01 Oct 03 thru 30 Sep 04, with four one-year option s. This requirement is unrestricted. The NAICS code for this requirement is 621910 and the size standard is $6 million. Solicitation will be issued on or about 12 Aug 03 with a closing date of 27 Aug 03.
