- ***************THIS SYNOPSIS IS CANCELLED************************ Project consists of construction of shaded fuel breaks by removal of undesirable brush, hardwoods and conifers by handpiling on National Forest land on the Smith River National Recreation Area, Six Rivers National Forest, Gasquet, Del Norte County, California. Undesired vegetation will be cut by hand, piled and piles covered for later disposal by the Forest Service. Pre-bid tour will be held, date and time to be given in the solicitation. Offerors will be required to submit a price and technical proposal with evaluation criteria clearly spelled out in Section M of the solicitation. Solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about August 6, 2003.
