- Description
- The USDA, Agricultural Research Service in Albany, California has a requirement for one (1) rheometer with Peltier plate cooling kit, 20mm and 60 mm steel parallel plates; computerized multimedia system, monitor and printer; including installation and training. The rheometer will be utilized in the analysis of a wide range of samples with varying rheological properties and must have a large torque range. In characterizing weak interactions between starch-based products and fillers, the rheometer must have low torque sensitivity down to 0.03 ?Nm and high torque sensitivity up to 200mNm. The rheometer must be capable of measuring frequencies ranging from 1x10ֿ7 to 100 Hz and have a wide normal force range of 0.01 to 50 N. Must be able to measure the sample?s rheological properties up to 200?C and the rheometer must have a temperature ramp rate of 60?C/min.
