- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. (ii) RFQ-CAZ-03-96, this solicitation, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and one award will be made on a fixed-price basis. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-14, Effective 23 Jun 03. (iv) This is a total small business concern set aside under NAICS Code 424910, Seeds wholesaling. The small business size standard for this NAICS Code is set at 500 employees or less. (v) Bid Items: Item 1, Seed Mix made up of 40% Idaho Fescue, 25% Bluebunch Wheatgrass, 25% Western Wheatgrass, and 10% Antelope Bitterbrush; Quantity: 10,000; Unit of Issue: LB. Item 2, Tuffed Hairgrass Seed; Quantity: 200; Unit of Issue: LB. (vi) Desired delivery date for this requirement is August 15, 2003. FOB POINT: Douglas Ranger District, ATTN: Tim Byer; 2250 E Richards Street, Douglas WY 82633. (vii) Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (viii) The offeror meeting the requirements of the solicitation and having the lowest aggregate price will be awarded the purchase order. (ix) Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items, with offer. This provision is provided to the offer online at http://www.arnet.gov/far/ or on Federal Business Opportunities at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ . (x) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xi) Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orers – Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) The following Numbered Notes are applicable to this solicitation and the ensuing contract: 1 (one). (xiii) Offers are due by 4:00 P.M. Local Time on FRIDAY, AUGUST 8, 2003.
