Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items or services in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation No. (RFQ) R-9099-00-3-00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336399. The Food and Drug Administration is soliciting for the following equipment: A Telescopic Boom Lift. The specifications: 60 ft platform height – minimum; horizontal reach: 49’6” minimum; (36” x 72”) platform size; diesel engine 55-65 HP; 2 wheel drive-oscillating axle; hour meter; horn; platform work lights; articulating jib boom – with and without options. APPLICABILITY OF FAR PROVISIONS: The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by references. 52.203-6 Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to the Government with Alternate I (41 U.S.C. 253g and 10 U.S.C. 2402). 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items. Offers are due on or before August 20, 2003, 3:00 p.m. local prevailing time in Jefferson, Arkansas.
