Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item(s) prepared in accordance with FAR12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. DADA15-03-T-0187 is issued as an Invi tation for Bid (IFB). The Solicitation document and incorporated Provisions and Clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-11. This Procurement will not be set aside for small business. The SIC Code is 3842; the North Amer ican Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339113; the FSC 6515. The Medical Command Contracting Center-North Atlantic intends a sole source award to Cordis Corporation for Walter Reed Army Medical Center, 6900 Georgia Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20307. The required products are CYPHER™ Sirolimus-eluting Coronary stents: 1) 2.50X13MM (Cordis Catalog no. CWS13250) quantity 5; 2) 3.00X13MM (catalog no. CWS13300) quantity 5; 3) 2.50X18MM (catalog no. CWS18250) quantity 5. Substitutions are not a llowed. Bids must be for FDA-approved products from vendor who is FDA-approved for the manufacture, distribution, and/or sale of required products. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial bid received without discussions. The Government will consider all bids received by 5 Augu st, 2003.
