- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all necessary plant, labor, tools, transportation, supplies, supervision, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary for the demolition, of a military family housing complex, and site restoration. The scope of work includes removal of 61 quadraplex apartments (244 units), and 25 carport facilities over a 25-acre site, excavation of streets, concrete slabs, curbs, and sidewalks, plus interior asbestos abatement of floor tile, window caulking, and sink coatings. Utility demolition involves removal and on base storage of transformers, and light poles, as well as extraction of duct bank conductors. Site restoration includes fill, and topsoil added to excavated areas, plus seeding. Project site is located at Randolph AFB, TX. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238910 and the size standard is $12,000,000. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This project is a competitive 8(a) acquisition. An organized site visit will be scheduled at a later date. The exact date of the site visit and solicitation due date will be stated in the solicitation package when posted. Access to the site will be limited to this organized site visit only. This solicitation will be available via FedBizOpps website on or about 25 Jun 03.
