- Description
- This project will replace and repair deteriorated bituminous pavement and shall include removing existing pavement, base material and apply new base material, asphalt pavement, and installation of concrete curbs and sidewalk at VA Medical Center, Bath, New York as required by contract Specifications and Drawing No. VAMC528A6-1650 (Sheets 1 thru 2). Work involves removal of approximately 15,800 Square Yards of bituminous asphalt pavement and base material. Approximately 15,800 Square Yards of bituminous pavement, item 4 base material, 480 linear feet of concrete curb, 1450 SF of concrete sidewalk will be installed. New pavement will be 2 =BD=94 bituminous asphalt binder course and 1 =BD=94 bituminous asphalt wear course. New concrete curb shall be 6=94 X 18=94 unless otherwise noted. New Item 4 base material shall be approximately 8=94 in depth and will be placed in areas indicated and shown on contract drawings. The estimated cost range for this solicitation is $500,000 to $1,000,000. The NAICS Code is 237310 with a size standard of $28.5 million. Bid packages will be available on or about 8/11/03. A refundable bid deposit of $100.00 made payable to the VA Medical Center is required for each set of Specifications and Drawings.
