Description

The U.S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals from selected contractors for the customer parking pavement replacement project at the Honolulu, Hawaii - Processing and Distribution Center. The project generally consists of the following: (1) Remove existing concrete curb, prune trees, trim roots, install root barrier and install new 6-inch x 18-inch concrete curb - approximately 290 LF; (2) Remove existing 15,000 SF asphalt and base; compact the entire area to 95% and replace with new 6-inch base rock and 4-inch asphalt concrete; (3) Overlay 30,000 SF of 2-inch asphalt concrete over paving fabric; and (4) Restripe the entire parking lot. Estimated cost range is $90,000 to $110,000. The work is to be completed within 30 calendar days from the notice to proceed date.
