- Description
- The National Imagery and Mapping Agency intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR6.302-1 with Red Hen Systems, 2310 East Prospect Rd., Fort Collins, CO 80525. Red Hen Systems will provide two (2) multimedia-mapping products. The software, MediaMapper, provide a means of indexing both GPS data and multimedia files within a GIS database while providing Windows-based display, organization, and file access based on GIS mapping principles. The system, VMS 200 provides a portable data collection system that embeds GPS metadata into multimedia formats. It is also able to collect accessory information including laser rangefinder and digital compass data. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package is available. Vendors who believe they have this capability should respond in accordance with Numbered Note 22. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this notice. See numbered note 22.
