Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number JFK03Q0002 is being issued a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. This solicitation is unrestricted. Following is the Schedule that must be submitted. The item details are provided in the following order: line item number, description, quantity, unit. In your bid, please provide a unit price and total cost for each subline item. 0001-7?0? x 10?-0? custom deck modules, 50 each (the basic deck module shall be a welded steel, trussed, zinc plated frame. The basic module size allows from; 7?-0? x 10?-0? to 28?-0? x 60?-0? deck to be assembled. The modules shall have an easily removable lid along the two 7?-0? sides.); 0002- Deck Joining, joint plates, 200 each; 0003-Shipping, 1 job. All prospective bidders may obtain specifications on these items by submitting a written request faxed to (202) 416-8975. All items shall be shipped to Loading Dock #1 at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Attn: Production Department, 2700 F Street NW, Washington, DC 20566-0001 by October 15, 2003. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial applies to this acquisition. A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ?Commercial Items shall be returned with the completed Schedule to the following address: The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Attn: Contracting, 2700 F Street NW, Washington, DC 20566-0001 no later than 11:00am on August 8, 2003. Facsimile quotes will be accepted on (202) 416-8975, however, quotes which are not transmitted in time to be received by this office at or before 11:00am will be late and will not be considered for award. Bear in mind that there is only one facsimile machine and numerous firms may be submitting quotes. Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commerical Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commericial Items with clause 52.232-34, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Other than Central Contractor will apply to the resulting contract.
