- Description
- Provide mechanical operation and maintenance services at the Melvin Price Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse, 750 Missouri Ave., East St. Louis, Illinois, and the adjacent East St. Louis Federal Building, 650 Missouri Ave., East St. Louis, Illinois. These same services are to be provided at the Alton Federal Building 501 Belle St., Alton, Illinois; approximately 25 miles west of East St. Louis, Illinois. The approximate building sizes for the locations are 140,483 gross SF, 34,828 gross SF, and 31,970 gross SF, respectively. These figures are estimates only; potential offerors are encouraged to inspect the sites of performance regarding general and local conditions. Work includes, but is not limited to maintenance of all existing mechanical equipment and associated components, and structural maintenance, which includes miscellaneous repairs. The contract performance period is for five years, with an estimated start date of January 1, 2004. The proposed procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS Code is 238290 with a size standard of $12 million. The solicitation will be available on or about August 18, 2003. The solicitation closing date is September 18, 2003 at 3:00 P.M. (CST). The solicitation is being issued electronically only. Interested parties may access the solicitation at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring the site for amendments or additional information.
