- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to acquire equipment and data from a feasibility demonstration to determine the probability of producing an integrated Miniature Azimuth Gyro Unit (MAGU) into an Enhanced Target Acquisition and Location System. This is a continuation of the MAGU developmental efforts provided by Litton Systems, Inc., Navigation Systems Division; 21240 Burbank Blvd, Woodland Hills, California under Contract N00178-00-C-1029. This feasibility demonstration will also be negotiated on a sole source basis with Litton Systems, Inc. Litton Systems? MAGU, which has been in development for approximately three years, meets all US Marine Corps technical requirements. The Request for Proposal Number is N00178-03-R-1016. FOB Destination provisions applies. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
